Origins: Everywhere, Ivalice, previously of Archades
Age: Twenty-two
Background: Ffamran Mid Bunansa was the son of a scientist bent on taking the reins of history from the hands of the gods. Quite frankly, that idea didn't appeal, especially when his father made him a Judge, so he left his home, found himself a ship called the Strahl, became a sky pirate, and changed his name to Balthier. He travels with a Viera called Fran, and thanks to his previous adventures has friends in high places.
Arrival in Port Mango: In his words: "Ancient devices are all well and good when they behave how you expect them to. When they deposit you in another world, it's time to find somewhere else to pillage -- always assuming you can get back to your own world."
